The 16th Symposium on Astroparticle Physics in the Netherlands will be held on May 10 and 11, 2012 in Amsterdam, hosted by UvA/GRAPPA and Nikhef. One of the aims of the symposium will be to present a draft version of the new Dutch APP strategy document. We will also have a scientific program, with two guest speakers from CTA and regular reports on APP activities in the Netherlands.
One of the aims of the symposium will be to present a draft version of the new Dutch APP strategy document which is presently being drafted by the CAN. We will also have a scientific program, with two guest speakers from CTA and regular reports on APP activities in the Netherlands.
It will be a two day symposium this time, with an evening on May 10 dedicated to discussions on the strategy document. We strongly encourage you to stay for both days, so that you can enjoy the mix of APP strategy discussion and the scientific program. We will start the May 10 session at 11 o’clock, the May 11 session starts at 9 o’clock. Please plan your hotel bookings accordingly and note that mid-May is already a popular hotel season in Amsterdam.

Most reports on Dutch APP activities will be 20min in length. If you would like to present a talk, please email a title and abstract to the organizers
PhD students and postdocs are especially encouraged to apply for a talk.
