This autumn, Nikhef’s magazine DIMENSIES focuses, among other things, on the Detector R&D department, the improved XENONnT detector in Italy and the stories of alumni who started their careers at Nikhef and are now working in sometimes totally different environments. In the foreword, Nikhef director Stan Bentvelsen focuses on surprises: “Surprises lead us as researchers to new ideas and theories. Everything is geared towards them. And with results.”
The Dutch-language magazine Nikhef DIMENSIES is published twice a year and is intended for interested parties inside and outside science. The magazine can be downloaded as a pdf, or viewed as a browsable pdf (see above). Single issues can be ordered at communications@nikhef.nl.
