Higgs particles are extremely unstable and even have such a short lifespan that it is difficult to measure their lifetime. Nikhef PhD candidate Zef Wolffs used measurements taken with the ATLAS detector at CERN to make a new estimate, searching for clues to as yet unknown particles. He will receive his PhD from the University of Amsterdam on February 11 for his findings and explains what he did and what he found in this Nikhef PAPERCLIP.
