On paper, the decay of a B meson into a tau particle and a neutrino reveals a great deal about the difference between matter and antimatter. But can that extremely rare decay be measured with the LHCb detector? Nikhef PhD student Maria Domenica Galati from the University of Groningen investigated this and wrote her thesis on the subject. With encouraging results, she explains in her Nikhef PAPERCLIP video.
