It all started with a Big Bang, but what exactly did it look like? A group of scientists will take it upon themselves to try to take a baby picture of the universe. A wild plan, and one of the ‘extreme’ category, but one that gets people working together and earns investment from grant organisations. A conversation with two of them: Auke-Pieter Colijn, Professor of Experimental Astroparticle Physics at the UvA and Nicolo de Groot, vice-dean of education at Radboud University Nijmegen.
