Marco van Leeuwen in CERN Courier on the ALICE heavy ion collider

Nikhef physicist Marco van Leeuwen, together with CERN colleague Jochen Klein, wrote an illuminating overview story in the CERN Courier about research with ALICE. What can we learn from colliding heavy atomic nuclei? And what instruments are needed for this now and in the future? Van Leeuwen, affiliated with Utrecht University, is currently spokesperson of the international ALICE project in Geneva.
