Abstract:
As publicly announced today the KM3NeT collaboration has detected signals from a neutrino of an extraordinary energy.
We are excited to take you through the challenging work leading to this incredible find, along with the detailed investigations to confirm its significance.
We will further discuss the (astrophysical) interpretation of the signal, providing also an outlook to expectations for the future.
The Nature publication is by now online available, tomorrow a few companion papers from our collaboration will appear on arxiv. We look forward to answering on Friday your questions about the exciting findings!
