The memory map

The AST is a VME-slave that can be accessed both by A24 and A32 VME-cycles. The base address of the board can be set over the full 32-bits byte-address range in steps of 256 using 6 on-board rotary hex-switches (see figure 2).

Table 1 shows the mapping of the available registers and address locations relative to the base address, their function and their read/write capability.
