Description
The CRUSH module can be used as a Read Out Buffer (ROB) and contains an S-LINK input, a SHARC, and 1 MB of buffer memory.
The module stores event data comming from the S-LINK (at 160 MB/sec maximum) in the buffer memory. The SHARC handles the communication with the L2-trigger via its SHARC-Link ports (each capable of transfering 40 MB/sec).
The module doesn't have a PCI interface, it is plugged into a PCI slot only to power the module.
Six SHARC-Link ports are available. The SHARC can be booted via one of it's link ports.
