In the case of D8 cycles in the indivisible-cycle mode in range $C000 0000 - $FFFF FFFF the byte (within a longword) read or written during 32-bits transputer accesses is selected according to address bits A28 and A29:
$C000 0000 - $CFFF FFFF : transputer byte 0,
$D000 0000 - $DFFF FFFF : transputer byte 1,
$E000 0000 - $EFFF FFFF : transputer byte 2,
$F000 0000 - $FFFF FFFF : transputer byte 3.
If bit A28 is set in range $4000 0000 - $7FFF FFFF a single D16 cycle will be performed. In this case the word (within a longword) read or written is selected according to address bit A29:
$4000 0000 - $4FFF FFFF : D32 cycle,
$5000 0000 - $5FFF FFFF : D16 cycle, transputer low word,
$6000 0000 - $6FFF FFFF : D32 cycle,
$7000 0000 - $7FFF FFFF : D16 cycle, transputer high word.
