Address Modifier Registers

Each transputer on the 2TP-VME has eight 6-bit wide Address Modifier registers containing VME AM-codes one of which is enabled onto the VME-bus AM-lines 0 to 5 when the transputer does VME-accesses in the corresponding part of the memory map. See the memory map in Appendix A to determine in which address range which AM-register is being used.

The AM-registers can be read and written. After a reset of the 2TP-VME there are preset values in the AM-registers. Table 9 lists these presets together with the VME-cycle type defined by it and the address of each AM-register.
