Steven L. Lapekas, Jr., aged 33, of Caledonia, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, January 7, 2006. Steve is survived by his wife, Jill, his daughter, Liberty Marie, his parents, Steven (Marlene) Lapekas, Nancy (Duane) Miller, his brother, Dustin Lapekas, a step-brother, Kevin (Sheila) Miller, a step-sister, Robin (Randy) VandenBurg, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Denny (Peg) Johnson, his brothers-in-law, Greg Johnson, Chad (Carin) Johnson, his grandmothers, Lillian Lapekas, Josephine Henry, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, at St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, with Fr. Lou Stasker officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Liberty's Education Fund. As Steve had wished, cremation has taken place and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at: STROO FUNERAL HOME 1095 68TH ST. SE. |
