WORKSHOP ON POLARIZED ELECTRON SOURCES AND LOW ENERGY POLARIMETERS
WORKSHOP INFORMATION
A workshop on Polarized Electron Sources and Low-Energy Polarimeters will
be held just prior to the SPIN96 Symposium. The workshop will follow an
interdisciplinary approach, which has proven fruitful in past workshops.
For the workshop a separate fee of Dfl 200 is applicable, covering among
others coffee and lunches. Persons attending one or both of the workshops
automatically receive the proceedings.
Topics will include:
- Photocathode Research
- High polarization, high quantum efficiency, fabrication techniques,
- cleaning techniques, NEA physics, photoemission phenomena, ...
- Polarized Electron Guns
- Status reports, new gun designs (inverted structures, rf guns), ...
- Laser and Optical Transport Systems for Polarized Sources
- Pulsed, CW, RF-driven, ...
- Low Energy Polarimeters
- Polarimeters, spin rotators, beam diagnostics, ...
- Related Technical issues
- High potentials and gradients, ultra high vacuum, ...
