The next major release of QCDNUM will be version 18-00.
On the road to QCDNUM-18 we make a series of pre-releases QCDNUM-17-01/xx. In these releases, an existing routine may become obsolete but will still produce a message pointing to its replacement, a description of which can then be found in the write-up. This makes it easy to update your user program and keep enjoying the new developments.
Status reports on the progress you can find on the QCDNUM talks page.
You can get the latest beta version QCDNUM-17-01/15 and and its write-up from the download page. This beta version is almost fully functional; only a few bells and whistles are still missing.
Here is a list of upgrades still in the pipeline before releasing QCDNUM-18.
- Full test of the C++ interface to the QCDNUM toolbox.
- Enable evolution on multiple processors (under OpenMP).
- Turn QCD-QED evolution code (xFitter) into an add-on package.
- Toolbox improvements to make it more user-function driven.
- Upgrade polarised and time-like evolution to NNLO.
- Improve numerical stability of backward evolution.
Please revisit this site to check for updates and the stable release QCDNUM-18-00.
