• We presented the design of the Vertex Detector on 15-2-2000

(mechanics, vacuum, CO2 cooling, wake field studies)

• Overall reaction was positive and constructive

• Major points of discussion:

(a) foil resistance to differential pressure ? test, add self-opening valves

(b) dynamic vacuum issues ? partial bake-out ? Ti coating ?
(c) accuracy of WF calculations ? test setup, compare
(d) reliability of CO2 cooling system (vac.) ? demonstrate
