LED DAC-Settings Files

The LED DAC-settings file is read via a symbolic link to directory:

/zeus/transputer/online/vxx.y/bin/host/leopard

The actual files can be found in directory $\:\tilde{}$calec_rc/leopard. The tool to create the LED DAC-settings file (called leomaker) and its documentation can be found in the same directory.

A DAC-settings file is an ASCII-file with lines with the following syntax:

$<$mux-number$>$ $<$LED-box$>$ $<$LED-number$>$ $<$DAC-setting$>$

with 1$<=$mux-number$<=$4 (FCAL right (south), FCAL left (north), RCAL right (south), RCAL left (north) resp.), 0$<=$LED-box$<=$12, 0$<=$LED-number$<=$3 and 0$<=$DAC-setting$<=$255.

Which DAC-settings file is used is determined by the filename on the 20th line of the DAQ configuration file (the line with the comment: LED CNF file).
