XdBeX Interrupts

In XdBeX the concept of interrupt vectors does not exist; but (as in VME) the control character value received can be read from the data FIFOs (and the 9th data bit from the statusregister).

When a control character is received the data item counter value is stored in the counter FIFO; as long as the counter FIFO is not empty an interrupt is present on the XdBeX-bus.

[1]if followed by another fill character; sent by HOTLink hardware during any transmitter-idle time. [2]sending CChar 7 immediately following CChar 5 (defined as ESCON P-SOF) results in reception of CChar 47; sending CChar 7 immediately following CChar 1 (defined as ESCON C-SOF) results in reception of CChar 27.
