Currently serving as the director of the Institute of Physics of the UvA and of IHEF, the IoP division of particle physics.

Scientist at Nikhef, the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic Physics.

Programme leader of the Nikhef neutrino group, participating in the KM3NeT neutrino telescope collaboration, and in the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE).

Member of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

At the University of Amsterdam, I teach the Bachelor course Standard Model of Particle Physics, the Master course Beyond the Standard Model, and I am the contact person for the Bachelor's Subatomic Physics workshop (3rd year), and the Nikhef Research Projects (2nd year).
