There are several manuals:

| reference | The reference manual, written by Jos Vermaseren. |
| introduction | An introductory manual written by Geert Jan van Oldenborgh. |
For people who just start the tutorial or the introduction are best. The referece manual is less didactic. It puts emphasis on completeness and preciseness. This reference manual however is the manual that gets updated regularly.
For people who would like to understand a bit more about FORM and how to write efficient FORM programs there is a paper (lattice.ps or lattice.pdf) about the writing of a program to evaluate chromatic polynomials on rectangular lattices. This project was suggested by Denny Fliegner.
