Some of the documentation is available online. You are viewing it right now. To get more documentation on paper, you can contact the ADAM development group by e-mail (adam@nikhefk.nikhef.nl) or regular mail, stating your return mail address. The documentation will then be sent to you.

* ADAM gives a bus-error when reading a readspy-generated datafile

Ofcourse you may have found a real bug, but most likely your datafile is wordswapped. The data produces by readspy are 16-in-32 bit wordswapped by default. Use readpy -s to get it right, or use

  /global/eminmeet/DACQ_SOFTWARE/bin/word_swap

to correct your datafile.
