The folded test bellow is tested min. 15000 cycles and still leak tight.

  • the test take place in a vacuum vessel.
  • on the in- and outside are hardstops to limit the displacement.
  • the displacement is 15 mm, scaled to the 30 mm of the whole bellow.
  • a weight of 15 kg take care of the in-movement.
  • an air inlet, with a max of 65 mbar, take care of the out-movement.
  • the whole setup is controlled by LabView software.
  • a leaktester is constant connected to the system.
