A heater is mounted on the CO2 coolingtube CERN. Maintenance is done at the freon chillers and the support of the main chiller is improved
(june 15, 2007)
The coolingplant arrived at CERN.
(june 6, 2007)
The coolingbridge is placed in the back of the VELO and connected to the transferlines
(june 20, 2007)

Reshape of service platform
Frans Mul and Mike de Jong worked on the service platform around the VELO-tank in RB84, as well as compressed air and coolwater connections. Valve damaged; while mounting the big green valve it was noticed that the surface of the flange was damaged. Probably not during transport. Most likely during dismantling at NIKHEF.
(june 12-16; 2006)
Cabling work at RB84.
The cabling for motion and vacuum control on platform C3 was finished. Almost all of the connectors were mounted on the motion and vacuum cables in RB84 by Jaap Stolte, Piet de Groen, Bas vd H. and Luc Jansen.
(may 19; 2006)
Installation at IP8
At june 2 the velo was alignment at IP8. The precision in x and y we are within 100 micron. Also the velo is within 100 microrad parallel to the beam lines. Alignment document (Jo van den Brand)
