(february 12-14, 2007)
The two PILEUP modules are installed at the assemblylab at CERN
(february 5, 2007)
21 VELO modules and constrain system are installed at the assemblylab at CERN
(November 29 - december 1, 2006)
We replaced one VELO cable and installed with succes the PILE-UP cables at the assembly-lab (building 168) at CERN
Numbering of the cables: [Right detector] [Left detector]
(November 8, 2006)
The right detector at the testbeam area (Prevessin).
(October 28, 2006)
Transport of the right detector (with 9 modules mounted) to testbeam area (Prevessin).
(September 8, 2006)
VELO-module mounting in assembly lab.
(august 8-11, 2006)
40 flatcables are succesfully installed. 10 cables, which are allready installed at NIKHEf, were replaced by new ones due to connector 'problems'. Luckily we had some special help from Tatsuya.
(august 2, 2006)
All flatcables for the right VELO detector are arrived at NIKHEF.
(may 17, 2006)
Mechanical integration of the VELO RIGHT detector half is finalised. The detector half is in it's rotation and assembly stand and equiped with the CO2 blowsystem, sensor readout and vacuum pumps.
(may 16, 2006)
Machining of the Detector Trolly.
(may 8, 2006)
The right detector is transported to CERN.
(may 4, 2006)
2 feedthroughflanges are installed into the RIGHT DETECTOR. It costs almost half a day...
(may 3, 2006)
10 flatcables are mounted onto 2 feedthroughflanges (type A and B ) for installation into the RIGHT DETECTOR
(april 5, 2006)
All feedthroughflanges are mounted on the 'Detector hood' and evacuation is started for a real coolingtest in vacuum.
(march 24, 2006)
Heaters are connected to the cooling blocks for a real test in vacuum.
The first flatcables are arrived from GS Präzisions (Switzerland). Electrical tests of the flatcables shows very good results en mechanical is everything within the tollerances. The cables are assembled with connectors at ESIGMA in the Netherlands
(march 20, 2006)
Cooling bracket to the Module Support is modified to increase the space to the flatcable.
(march 15, 2006)
Succesfully installation of the Module Base (+ C02 evaporator) into the Detector Hood.
(march 9, 2006)
    Coolingblock mounting tool
(march 6, 2006)
Succesfully installation of the evaporator into the 'Module Support'.
Soldering of the last PT100 by Jaap Stolte.
Just in time arrived from the VU: The 'Cooling support system'
(februari 8, 2006)
The Right Detector is successfully pre-installed in the vacuum vessel. We found some problems but all of them are solvable.
