Title: "Boosted top quarks at the LHC"

Abstract:
At the LHC, with a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, top quarks no longer seem so heavy. Indeed, a large sample of top quark pairs has been collected by ATLAS and CMS, where the top quarks are so highly boosted that the classical reconstruction schemes for top quarks are inadequate. I will give an overview of new techniques and algorithms developed to deal with boosted objects and give an account of their merits and limitations based on experiences during the commissioning on the first LHC data. I will then proceed to present the results from the first searches for beyond the Standard Model physics that employ jet substructure techniques. Finally, I will give a brief outlook of future challenges and opportunities.
