NIKHEF Physics Data Processing Strategy 2013
This document is the result of discussions amongst the senior staff members of the PDP group, to define directions for our group. We considered in these discussions the elements discussed above, as well as activities for which we feel a responsibility in the short term (coming three years). While it is quite difficult to make detailed predictions in the ICT world for more than a few years in advance, our aim was to document a high-level strategy that would serve us well for the coming ten years.

A Nikhef Staff discussion in foreseen for April 8, 2014, to discuss how to best ensure the PDP strategy aligns with ongoing developments in the Nikhef scientific programmes, identify areas for joint work programmes, and how to embed results from the PDP programme (both from our own research as well as those learnt from our participation in global and European projects) within Nikhef in general.
