Title: “New results on rare B-meson decays and anomalies from LHCb”

Abstract:
Over the last decade, measurements probing the flavour changing neutral current transition 𝑏→𝑠ℓ+ℓ− have shown tantalising tensions with Standard Model (SM) predictions. However, interpreting the results as physics beyond the SM is complicated by our current understanding of hadronic uncertainties in these predictions. It is therefore essential to measure observables that are theoretically clean and unaffected by hadronic uncertainties.

In this seminar, I will present new results on two key processes using the complete dataset collected by the LHCb experiment so far, in addition to a new result on B meson production that is essential for one of these two measurements.
