Would you like to work on real research and technology projects while you are in school?
At Nikhef, students at the MBO, HBO or WO levels have the chance to complete an internship or write their thesis at the institute.
You’ll contribute to research and technology in particle physics and gain experience in an international setting.

Who is this for?
Nikhef offers opportunities for students at the higher vocational education (HBO) and university (WO) levels who are interested in physics, engineering, computer science, or related fields.
Are you curious, analytical, and do you enjoy collaborating on complex problems? Then you will be a great fit at Nikhef.

High School Students
Nikhef does not offer internships for high school students. However, we do organize activities for high school students interested in particle physics. Check out our page for high school students.
