Nikhef researcher Bjarni Pont, postdoc in the Cosmic Radiation (Auger) group is one of three people to have received the Auger Impact award this year.
The Auger Impact Award is given to young scientists and/or engineers who spend a significant amount of time on technical developments that have a major impact on Auger detector operation or data analysis. Pont won the award for his work in installing and commissioning the AugerPrime radio detector.
