Trouw interviews Nikhef specialists about the new superaccelerator

On May 22, the CERN Council decided to move forward with plans to build a new super-particle accelerator for electrons and positrons: the underground Future Circular Collider, with a circumference of 91 kilometers. Why this plan, and will it actually happen? The daily newspaper Trouw spoke with Rosemarie Aben, Jorgenn D’Hondt, and Raimind Snellings of Nikhef.
