In 2020, the Open Day of the Amsterdam Science Park, in which Nikhef always participates, will be canceled.
Every year, the Open Day is the perfect opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of scientific research at the Amsterdam Science Park.
But in times of corona, the continuation of events is no longer self-evident. Receiving visitors in our institutions has become impossible due to the current corona measures. It has therefore been decided, following the decision of the Science Weekend, to cancel the 2020 Open Day.
The Open Day of Amsterdam Science Park is a collaboration between Amsterdam Science Park (Science & Business), AMOLF, ARCNL, AUC, CWI, Netherlands eScience Center, Nikhef, SURFsara and UvA-FNWI and is part of the Weekend of Science.
