Nikhef’s Communications Department provides information and support to the media through its website, social media, and events; supplies visual material and background information; and arranges interviews and visits upon request.
Subatomic physics is a dynamic field in which Nikhef is heavily involved and about which the media are keen to find out more. Are you a journalist with questions about our research? If so, please contact Nikhef’s Communications Department at communications@nikhef.nl
When major scientific discoveries and milestones occur, Nikhef organises press events where the Dutch press can attend the official announcement and speak to the scientists involved. The most recent discovery was KM3NeT’s detection of the highest-energy neutrino ever observed.
