A welcome reception (hosted by the city of Amsterdam) will be held for all participants
and accompanying persons in the "Stopera" (acronym for "Stadhuis=City
Hall and the "Opera"=Theater) on Tuesday April 1
at 19.00 hours.

The Stopera is beautifully located right on the Amstel river, and the high open foyers overlook the historic panorama of Amsterdam.
The Stopera can be reached from NIKHEF most easily with tram 9. Get off at the "Waterlooplein" stop . The tram ride takes about 25 minutes; the "Stopera" is directly near the stop (see also map below).
NOTE:
due
to a temporary change in the tram line network you can from NIKHEF also use
tram line 14 (get on at "Kruislaan" stop near NIKHEF and get off at
"Stopera" stop). For more details see "Tram
