Welcome to my homepage!

Research

I am a researcher at Nikhef, the Dutch Institute for Particle Physics. In the past I have worked at the Hera-B, Babar and ATLAS experiments. I am currently involved in the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva. My research focuses on measurements of the differences between matter and antimatter and on searches for dark matter candidates. See also my curriculum vitea.

Teaching

I have taught so-called topical lectures in tracking and vertexing and experimental aspects of CP violation to graduate students in the Netherlands. Every autumn I teach a master course on particle physics.

Outreach

I am on the board of the Olga Igonkina Foundation, which awards a yearly scholarship to a promising student.
