VL-e Applications

The VBrowser is not only just a standalone browser. Other application groups within VL-e have developed and stil are developing their tools and plugins for the VBrowser to create their own 'virtual laboraty'.

The Virtual Laboratory for functional MRI (fMRI)

The VBrowser has been used by the Virtual Laboratory for functional MRI (fMRI) since 2006. First as grid file browser, later as plugin framework for interacting with workflow execution engine 'MOTEUR' providing users a way to submit and monitor their worklows to the grid. After succesful execution, users can and easy view the results of their computational experiments with a simple click on a link.
The MOTEUR service is not part of the VL-e Toolkit.
