ATLAS ShaSLINK
(NIKHEF)

DESCRIPTION

The ShaSLINK will enable a study of the output part of a SHARC based ROBComplex. This card has originally been developed for studying the design of the RODs for the muon precision chambers (MROD) but its PCI interface also allows using it in the context of the ROBComplex study.

The block diagram of the module comprises a PCI interface chip (PLX9054), a SHARC procesor, an Altera FPGA (10K10A) and a (40 MHz) S-LINK output and can also be used as programmable S-LINK data source.
