The Zero Iron Power Supply
We are busy, at NIKHEF, designing a DC/DC converter that can be used in the magnetic field of the ATLAS detector.
This DC/DC converter contains no iron and should therefor not be susceptible to a magnetic field.

Status of this project:
-The first prototype is ready and has been tested.
It complies to the aforementioned specifications
-The design of the second prototype is in progress.
We want to increase the efficiency and change some parts that maybe sensitive to radiation.
