Front-End Box
The interface between the FE Electronics and the anode wires
is provided by the
HV Boards. Since an HV Board services
32 detector channels, each FE Box hosts four or two HV Boards, depending
on the type of
straw-tube modules):
The figure below shows how the HV Boards are mounted onto the
FE Box inner frame
FE Box inner frame. Also indicated in the figure is the numbering scheme
of the four HV Boards.
