OT Finite State Machine (FSM)
Overview
The OT operator can get access to the
OT ECS
by starting the Device Editor and Navigator (DEN) on the
OT ECS control node.
The DEN offers three ways to access the device units: the HARDWARE VIEW,
the LOGICAL VIEW, and the FSM.
Under normal circumstances, the OT Operator is concerned with the
OT FSM. The FSM top panel is shown in the
figure below; the colors indicate the status of the control nodes.
The OT FSM adopts the usual
OT hierarchical structure
based on the geographical subdivision of the OT system in
Stations, Layers, Quadrants, etc.
The two detector halves, "A" (Q13) and "C" (Q02),
are treated as independent partitions.
