Pixel Detectors

Nikhef was involved in the RD19 group at CERN for the development of silicon pixel detectors. The read-out of pixel detectors the LHC1 chip was designed by the RD19 group. You can find detailed information in this paper and there's, of course, still a link to the RD19-page at CERN.
The LHC1 detector was tested in the H6 beam at CERN. Below you can see the setup, which consist of an LHC1 detector and 8 silicon strip detectors for tracking.
