TMR "Micro-track Imaging"

Funded by the European Union, under contract nr ERBFMRX-CT98-0196, within the Training and Mobility of young Researchers Programme, we are involved in a network together with:

NIKHEF, Amsterdam
Humboldt Universitaet, Berlin
Israel Institute of Technology , Haifa
INFN Napoli
INFN Roma
Delft Electronic Products, Roden

to develop new types of detectors for charged particles and photons, based on integration of semiconducting imagers (EBCCD's, CMOS imagers, Hybrid pixel detectors) into Vacuum tubes (Image Intensifiers, Vacuum Image pipelines)

We presently emply two Young scientists on this program:

David San Segundo Bello (from Barcelona, Spain) since Sept 15th, 1998
Gianluigi Bardelloni (from Roma, Italy) since Feb, 1st, 1999
