Argonne: R.Blair
UCL: R.Cranfield
NIKHEF : J.Vermeulen
CERN: D. Francis, K.Korcyl, P.Golonka
1. Paper modelling: J. Vermeulen has looked at results generated by M. Abolins and found a problem, M. Abolins has been informed.
2. ROS modelling: R. Cranfield drafts a final list of parameters to be determined from measurements. The time required by the ROBIn for "indexing", not present in the initial list, will be included. The list is to be added to the document of P. Golonka and K. Korcyl on the parameters to be determined for the Data Collection (DC) software and can become later a separate chapter in that document. The different parameters names for the DC and ROS models should follow the same convention. It was concluded that the DC parameter convention(i.e. the different parts of a name are separated by underscores) is to be used.
3. Data Collection modelling and HLT modelling: P. Golonka and K. Korcyl have written a draft document on the DC model parameters. J. Vermeulen had a few comments, which were discussed. D. Francis remarked that the document should be entered into the EDMS system. A first round of cross-checking with S.Gadomski has given rise to a few changes in the DFM and SFI models. P. Golonka is concentrating on the DC message passing system, with measurements starting the Monday after the meeting and model parameters expected to be available after about two weeks.
4. at2sim: P. Golonka has been working on a clean-up of the software: amongst others messages have been made to conform to DC note 22 and message identifiers and class names have been reorganised. A new branch of at2sim has to be checked in in the repository. The program should also be checked in the ATLAS TDAQ CVS repository.
5. Simdaq: no news.
6. Chiba City: no news.
7. Workplan: The work seemed to progress roughly as foreseen.
8. Next meeting: Thursday 21 November 15.30 h CERN time.
