1. Paper modelling: M.Abolins is investigating the correctness of the assumption that the LVL1 RoI rate for each RoI position does only depend on the area in eta-phi space contributing to the rate for that position and not on the absolute value of eta and phi. He has found until now that a study on photon vs. jet discrimination found only very weak dependence of the amount of possible discrimation on eta in the range from 0.8 to 1.5. M. Abolins will consult the LVL1 group. In the discussions on the TDR it was concluded that most of the detailed paper model results should be moved into an appendix.
2. ROS modelling: R. Cranfield looks after modelling partial event building in the ROS modular unit.
3. Data Collection modelling, HLT modelling, at2sim: The model for event builing of the full system works. The 1600 ROBs in this model each have an individual network connection, which is different from the current baseline. Groups of 4 ROBIns sharing a single network connection, but without partial event building, should be modelled, as well as 3 ROB cards with 4 ROBIns sharing two connections (one for LVL2 traffic, the other for Event Building). Updated parameters for the SFI were received. P. Golonka will provide slides to be presented in the meeting on TDR ch. 14 the day after the meeting. R. Cranfield looks into support required for the model of the LVL2 trigger (mapping, aequential processing, detector specific algorithm execution times), but will give modelling partial event building in the ROS modular unit priority.
4. Next meeting: The next telephone meeting is planned for Tuesday 1 April, 15.30 h CERN time.
5. AOB: None
