Argonne: R. Blair
UCL: R.Cranfield
CERN (Cracow group): P.Golonka, K.Korcyl
NIKHEF : J.Vermeulen
1. Paper modelling: M.Abolins has spoken to V.Vercesi and J.Baines during last ATLAS week.
2. ROS modelling: R. Cranfield started to look at at2sim. J. Vermeulen started on a list of simdaq parameters to be sent to R.Cranfield in the week of the meeting. The goal is to produce a list of parameters to be determined in test measurements of the ROS on a short timescale.
3. Data Collection modelling and HLT modelling: Results of the DFM calibration measurements done in Krakow were not understood, but a bug in the time stamping library has been found and new measurements have to be done. In the period till 28 October K.Korcyl is at CERN and works together with P. Golonka on a list of parameters to be determined from test measurements and an associated test plan. Most test measurements to be done for characterizing a component probably can be simplified to 2-machine tests, students in Krakow may be able to assist. It is foreseen that as part of the Data Collection software special tester applications will be made available.
4. at2sim: P.Golonka introduced a new directory for the Data Collection stars and scripts for the FPGA and Alteon based ROB emulators.
5. Simdaq: No new developments
6. Chiba City: It is attempted to get the current Data Collection software running on the system. AFS support was a problem, but it seems that the use of AFS can be switched off.
7. Workplan: It was decided to contact M.Dobson, in his capacity of TDR editor, to prevent confusion with respect to the presentation of modelling results in the TDR.
8. Next meeting: The next telephone meeting is planned for Thursday 24 October, 15.30 h CERN time, in view of the foreseen completion of the parameter lists.
9. AOB: None
