Europhysics Foundation At the installation of the East-West Task Force in 1990 there was an agreement, seen the very bad financial situation of the EPS, that the Task Force should look after its own finances. To that purpose a foundation was established by representatives of the Netherlands Physical Society (NNV) , the German Physical Society (DPG) and the Institute of Physics (IOP) . The Europhysics Foundation is established in Amsterdam under Netherlands' law. Chairman is professor Dr. R. Dekeyser, director/treasurer Dr. E.W.A. Lingeman Member Drs. J. Heijn. The starting capital (NLF 5 000.-) was provided by the NNV, through a generous gift of the Physica Foundation. The Europhysics Foundation bank account is: Postbank, accountnumber: 625 9965. All data of the EPS Server and NNV Server are on a harddisk, which is part of a SUN Sparc Station LX, given to the Europhysics Foundation by the FOM Motieffonds. The Europhysics Foundation Office is housed at NIKHEF in Amsterdam. Those, who want to support the work of the Europhysics Foundation can transmit their contribution to above mentioned bank account.
