Rasnik is a wide range, high precision alignment monitoring system, developed at NIKHEF.

This module is not intended to be used in Atlas. It can be used in experimental set ups and for building chambers. It will also be used to test the various components in radiation.

MasterBrico description:
The module connects a RasMux to the RasNik PC's printer port and framegrabber. This module should be sitting close to the RasNik PC. It translates the single ended printerport signals to differential signals and vice versa. The differential video and clock signals are converted to single ended signals, needed by the framegrabber.
It has a single power input (24...32 V). On board are two converters, generating 15 and 8 V. These (plus the incoming voltage) are needed by the RasMux . There are two more local regulaters, generating +5V. Two RasMuxes can connect to a MasterBrice by using a splitter .
