Rasnik MasterBrico

MasterBrico description: The module connects a RasMux to the RasNik PC's printer port and framegrabber. This module should be sitting close to the RasNik PC. It translates the single ended printerport signals to differential signals and vice versa. The differential video and clock signals are converted to single ended signals, needed by the framegrabber. It has a single power input (24...32 V). On board are two converters, generating 15 and 8 V. These (plus the incoming voltage) are needed by the RasMux . There are two more local regulaters, generating +5V. Two RasMuxes can connect to a MasterBrice by using a splitter .

• D25 connector to connect to one RasMux (female/female cable needed. Flat cable can only be used for lengths less than 0.5 m).
• D25 connector to connect to the LPT port of the PC (female/male cable needed).
• D15 connector to connect to the framegrabber (female/female, containing 3 coax lines).
• BNC video output for a monitor.
• Power input for the whole system, 28 V, 500 mA.
• Option: Video input to second channel of the frame grabber.
