Rasnik is a wide range, high precision alignment monitoring
system, developed at NIKHEF.
At the moment the settings of the frame grabber (DT3152 only) are the same
for all channels. Icaras 4.0 initializes the frame grabber at start up. The
parameters are taken from the rasnik.ini file. The grabber is set up for an
interlaced frame, while the grabber output only gives a single field (half
a frame). The other settings control the usage of the external pixel clock
and the describe the sensor's format. This covers the active pixels plus a
box around the active area where the pixels are black. The box makes it easy
to see that everything is set up correctly.
The set up of the RasCam controls is fully integrated in Icaras 4.0.
The I2C settings allow you to divide the RasCam clock. If a monitor
is attached to the MasterBrico it will not function properly. Extra hardware
is being develloped to support the frame grabber's variable scan mode.
