Here you find links to documentation of electronics in development
at NIKHEF
for Atlas:
The CANspy
module is used to monitor and/ or control multiple
CAN-buses in the detector control system (DCS)
Rasnik
is a wide range, high precision alignment monitoring system.
A system for phase
calibration of the monitored drift tube electronics is proposed
here.
The
NIMROD is the prototype interface between the MDT front end
electronics
and the data aquisition system and second level trigger. The ideas we
had
in 1997 about the NIMROD and related stuff are
described
here.
In a later stage the NIMROD was split in the CSM, mounted on the
chamber
and the MROD
(Muon
Read Out Driver), sitting in USA15. The MROD sends the data
of
a tower of chambers (region of interest) to the ROB (Read Out Buffer).
Many 3D B-field
sensors are installed in Atlas and some other places.
