  • November 1st: start project.
  • December: enable LDAP authentication.
  • December: pilot users Cyrus IMAP service.
• 2010
  • January 12th: webmail.nikhef.nl directs to Horde webmal client.
  • January 12th: enable SURF mailfilter for nikhef.nl domain.
  • January 20th: start mass migration mail folders from old to new IMAP server.
  • January 29th: all accounts migrated.
  • February 2nd: final step: switch to MTA mail.nikhef.nl.
  • February 10th: new mail system operational
  • February 25th: shutdown old mail servers
