For the following services you can change your NikIdM password here:
  • Nikhef mail services
  • Almost all Linux systems (some older ones do not use the single-sign-on password)
  • MS Windows (your Windows password will be synchronized only if it is the same as your single-sign-on password)
  • SURFfederatie (mailfilter, surfspot, etc)
  • EduRoam Wireless LAN authenticatie
  • TOPdesk Self Service Desk

Linux

For the following services you have to login into a Linux system and issue the passwd command to change your password:
  • Linux account on 'older' Linux installations
You can verify if your Linux system is 'old' by issuing the passwd command. It will either prompt for a new password (old) or telling you that your system uses LDAP authentication (new).

MS Windows

In case you prefer different passwords for your single-sign-on account and your MS Windows account (but why should you?), you can change your Windows password on your Windows desktop.
