SSH client for Windows
The product of SSH Communications Security is licensed by SURFnet for installations on laptops and computers at home.This page contains a quick guide for the installation procedure of the SSH client for Windows.

If your desktop or laptop computer is connected to the NIKHEF LAN and you are logged in to the NIKHEF Windows domain, then execute the next steps to install the SSH client software:
In case you are not connected to the NIKHEF Windows domain, you can download the SSH Secure Shell client software from here.
- Open the folder 'WinClient SSH' in the directory '\\paling\admin\UserSoftware'.
- Start the installation program 'Setup.exe' and follow the instructions for a (default) installation.
- To finish the installation:
- Start the 'SSH Secure Shell Client' from the 'Start' menu.
- Open the 'Help' menu and select the 'Import License File ...' item.
- Open the folder 'WinClient SSH' in the directory '\\paling\admin\UserSoftware'.
- Select the 'licentie.dat' file and open it to import the license (needed only once).
